This is a blog dedicated to the noble scholars of Deoband (may Allah shower His mercy on them all), in which I intend to post their biographies, sayings and writings.

  2. At Talib Says:

    Assalamu alaikum,

Kudos on the excellent website. I enjoy very much the content you post and have requested my students to frequent your website. It is important for a student of knowledge associated with the ‘ulama of Deoband to have a strong love and spiritual connection with his elders. What you are providing on your website makes it easier for me to achieve that with my students.

I have provided a link on my blog, which I use to share information with students and friends, to your website. I hope you do not mind.

I am sending this message to as many of the WordPress blogs that are geared towards promoting Islam. It may or may not have come to your attention but many if not all of the authentic sunni blogs fail to add the “Islam” tag to their articles.

Only deviated sects/anti-islamic blogs seem to be adding the tag of Islam to their articles/posts. As a result of that when one does a search of articles on Islam only those blogs are seen. Click on the link below and see for yourself:

    http://wordpress.com/tag/islam/

I recommend that you add the Islam tag to all your articles to counteract this. Maybe adding a “Religion” tag too might be a good idea also. Add the Islam tag atleast and then you could add the tag for the specific subject matter, “Quran” for example.

Some of you may be wondering that your particular blog is suited just for Muslims; but in my humble opinion – it does not matter and it shouldn’t really be a cause for concern.

    wal-Allahu a’lam

    wassalam

    ibn ayyub

    PS
Please circulate this within you blogroll insha- Allah.

Forgive me for contacting you in this manner, I dont have your email add.

  9. Julaybib Says:

    As Salaam Alaykum.

Brothers, recently I raised the question on Qari Muhammad Hanif Multani(ra). Whether anybody knew anything concerning his life, what I found is that almost everybody had heard his speeches and been inspired by them.Yet no one Knew anything about him.

So I have decided to write an article on his life myself, however I do not know how to proceed. Every avenue I have turned to has been a dead end.

Quite a few brothers have offered encouragement to me on this endeavor, and also wish to know more about this elder of recent times.

I would be grateful if you could asisst me in this regard and provide me with contact details of Ulema or organisations who may have known Qari Sahib (ra). Or any other advice will be greatly appreciated.

  11. Mukhtar Ba Says:

    As salaamu aleikum wa rahmatullah,
I live in Mauritania. Alhamdulillah our ‘ulama have greatly benfited from the books of the mashaikh of deoband and continue to do so.
I am looking for a copy of ‘al abwaab wa at taraajim” by Ml Zakariyya Saheb (RA). But I need it to be in regular arabic script rather than the urdu type arabic script. Does anyone know where I can procure that? Another book of interest is also “amaaniul ahbar” by Ml Yusuf (RA).

    Jazaakumullahu khairan.

Salam Bro, may Allah give me the understanding to absorb the information you have provided on this blog and Allah grant you success upon success for your hard work and efforts.

Im not really internet savvy on which site holds the best information, i have found many a site some slandering each other off etc. This is one of the few sites where it simply list information about our great predeessors and illiterate people like me and read to my fill how they spent their lives and what information they passed on in their works.

At the moment i am looking for Kulyaat-e-Imdadiyah and Zia-ul-Quloob by Hazrat Haji Imdadullah Muhajar Makki. I have searched high and low and only found one site in the US that sells them.

If anybody or indeed the owner of this blog knows where i can buy these books (spare copies anyone) i will paypal and also send cheques to cover all costs if you can get them to me in the UK.

If anybody can help pls email me on Sarfraz.Yusuf@virgin.net

    Salams

We’re launching a new site like Blogger.com but for Muslims only. It’s called MuslimBlogz.com and wanted to know if you feel your readers would find it useful. Please take a moment and visit the site and maybe consider linking to us.

We are planning on making a section for Muslim Bloggers who are not using MuslimBlogz.com and starting a link exchange for those with blogs like yourself that aren’t in need of our services. We are also very open to other suggestions you may have in improving this service for the digital Ummah.
